How she earned her name:  ThistleFlick has known that she wanted to be a medicine cat since her kithood. Due to her being abandoned and bullied at an early age, ThistleFlick had always been incredibly shy and timid. When she began her apprenticeship, her mentor was quickly impressed by her knowledge and eagerness. However, ThistleFlick began to doubt herself more and more as time went on. One afternoon her self doubt had apparently broken her. She entered her mentor's den to notify him of her bowing out. As the words tumbled out of her mouth, she began to cry hysterically. Mortified by her tears, This fled from den with her mentor a few paces behind her. At her mentor's repeated calls, This finally stopped at a riverbank. Before she could turn around, her mentor was attacked by a rival clam warrior. Luckily, the two were able to drive the cat away, but her mentor was horrifically injured. ThistleFlick, knowing she couldn't move the injured cat, began to treat his gashes and bite wounds using a myriad of herbs and her own techniques. After she was finished, she apologized for running away and for his injuries as she blamed herself. Before she could continue, her mentor startled This by telling her she was now a full-fledged medicine cat. He told her not to doubt herself and that she handled herself well in the emergency. He renamed her "ThistleHeart", because her mentor saw the passion in her heart, and wanted her to remember that her passion would see her through her moons as a medicine cat.

             Flick- she listens intently to those teaching her, flicking her ears quite often 
             Heart- given by her mentor, to remind her to not let her mind doubt her heart's instincts

Personality: Because of her past, This is very sensitive and shy. While she is caring and professional in her career, truly earning her trust as a friend is no easy feat. However, once you have, she'll give you a lot of love and a deep loyalty. She will protect those she considers family with her life. A word of caution, if she is hurt by you badly or often enough, she will cut you out of her life for good (she will still treat you as a medicine cat however). She still struggles with self doubt, but constantly tries to push ahead of it. She has an artistic side as well, and can sometimes be found making her own paint with berries and water, then using her tail to paint.
